Yes, Sam, I remember the event as if it were yesterday. I remember the
Marines that carried the colors. And I remember also getting into a
convertible with a lovely lass and riding around the track with her. Wonder
where she is now and if she's still beautiful. I still have the picture
somewhere among my memorabilia. Those were the days, weren't they, Sam ?!
Can't tell you how much I enjoy the PROV web page, especially the memoirs
sent in by her crew. Thanks for making it possible.

With my best friend Vic L'heureux. We did many things together: drill team, sailing team, scuba diving, skiing, liberty call and other. By the way, we were co-creators of the drill team and sailing team.
