Wayne Fletcher, also known as the Admiral by his family and friends, shares a few seastories from his exploits aboard the USS Providence CL-82. (1945-46)

Wayne Fletcher took this photo of a ship partially sunk in Naples Harbor. The ships that turned on their sides were used as temporary piers. The local kids would come out of holes and openings in the sunken ships and hope that a sailer would throw them something.
